Daphne Green
Daphne Green is a freelance writer of articles and short stories. Among her interests are horse riding, health and fitness, travel and alternative and complementary therapies. Her work has appeared in magazines such as Health & Harmony, Horse and Pony and Farmer’s Weekly and has won awards in several writing competitions.
Daphne's early career was in equestrianism as an instructress and she was an avid competitor in the show jumping and eventing world. During that time she studied Anatomy, Physiology and Physical Therapy and went on to run her own Natural Health and Weight Loss clinic.
Daphne has practiced Yoga from the age of 14 and studied with the Masters in the Nilgiris mountains of India.
More recently she spent 5 years working in a magistrates court as Witness Liaison Officer and managing the security and usher teams.
Now in the fortunate position of being able to relax and look forward to time out with her husband, a retired family doctor, much travel is planned abroad and in the UK so plenty to write about on that subject.
